The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of printing examination notification slips for candidates scheduled to participate in the 2026 Mop Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The examination is scheduled to hold on June 13, 2026.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, who urged eligible candidates to print their slips ahead of the examination date.
According to JAMB, the notification slip contains vital information, including candidates’ examination centres, dates, time schedules and other important instructions required for participation in the exercise.
The Board explained that the mop up examination was specifically arranged for candidates who were unable to sit for the main UTME due to technical challenges, as well as those whose biometric verification could not be successfully completed during the initial examination period.
JAMB advised affected candidates to visit its official portal and access the “Print 2026 Mop Up UTME Slip” section to obtain their examination details.
The Board further encouraged candidates to print their slips early and familiarize themselves with their examination venues to avoid any last minute difficulties on the examination day.
“The Board wishes to emphasise that this Mop Up Examination represents the final opportunity for eligible candidates to sit the 2026 UTME. No further examination will be conducted after this exercise,” the statement said.
JAMB also called on all eligible candidates to make adequate preparations and take full advantage of the opportunity, stressing that the June 13 examination will serve as the final window for participation in the 2026 UTME.
The Board reiterated its commitment to ensuring a smooth and transparent examination process while urging candidates to comply with all instructions contained in their notification slips.
