Arsenal have announced their fifth signing of the summer transfer window as the club continues its squad rebuild ahead of the new season.
The Gunners confirmed the arrival of Lisa Baum from RB Leipzig to strengthen their women’s team.
The 19 year old winger has signed a contract that will keep her at the North London club until 2029, with an option for an additional year.
Arsenal had been monitoring Baum throughout the transfer window and are pleased to secure the services of the highly rated youngster, who impressed during her time in the Bundesliga.
Baum joined RB Leipzig in 2025 after a successful spell with Hamburger SV and quickly attracted attention with her performances, earning a move to the double European champions.
She is expected to add more quality and depth to Arsenal’s wide attacking options under manager Renee Slegers.
Speaking after completing the move, Baum expressed her excitement about joining the club.
“I’m thrilled to join Arsenal, and I am eager to begin. This league is incredibly competitive, and Arsenal is a prestigious club, so I am looking forward to challenging myself and competing against the best,” she said.
Baum joins other summer arrivals including Ona Batlle, Geraldine Reuteler, Selina Cerci, and Georgia Stanway.
Arsenal Women’s football director, Clare Wheatley, described Baum as one of the most promising young wingers in Europe and said the club believes she has the right environment to continue developing her career.
