Bendel Insurance are closing in on the return of Super Eagles goalkeeper Amas Obasogie ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Obasogie currently plays for Tanzanian club Singida Black Stars after leaving the Benin based side in 2024.
Reports indicate that Bendel Insurance are keen to bring the experienced shot stopper back as they prepare for the new campaign.
His return is expected to strengthen the squad as the Benin Arsenals aim to improve their performance in the upcoming NPFL season.
Obasogie enjoyed a successful spell with Bendel Insurance, helping the club win the Federation Cup in 2023.
He also claimed the NPFL Golden Glove award after recording the highest number of clean sheets during the season.
The goalkeeper was also a member of the Super Eagles squad that won the bronze medal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
