Samuel Chukwueze is set to return to AC Milan after Fulham FC decided against making his loan move permanent.
The Nigeria international joined Fulham on a season long loan from AC Milan last summer, with an option to buy included in the agreement.
However, reports indicate that Fulham will not activate the clause, meaning the winger will head back to Italy at the end of the season.
Chukwueze recorded three goals and four assists during his loan spell with the Premier League side.
According to Tuttomercato, AC Milan will also not pursue a permanent exit elsewhere immediately, leaving the 27 year old expected to report back to the Serie A club this summer.
The winger had previously endured a challenging two year spell in Milan before his temporary switch to England.
