Turkish champions Galatasaray have reportedly turned down a €120 million offer from Atletico Madrid for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

According to reports from Turkey, the Spanish club identified Osimhen as one of its primary transfer targets ahead of the new season and submitted a substantial offer in an attempt to secure his services.

Atletico Madrid are believed to be preparing for possible changes in their attacking department, with Alexander Sørloth attracting interest from Juventus, while Julian Alvarez has been linked with moves to Barcelona and Arsenal.

Despite the significant offer, Galatasaray are said to have rejected the proposal, signaling their determination to retain the Nigerian international.

The decision underscores the club’s confidence in Osimhen’s importance to the team following his impressive contributions since arriving from Napoli.

Galatasaray secured Osimhen’s services in a deal valued at €75 million, and the striker has since played a key role in helping the club win consecutive Turkish Super Lig titles.

The 27 year old forward remains one of the most sought after strikers in European football, with his future continuing to generate widespread transfer speculation.

In recent months, Osimhen has been linked with several top clubs across Europe, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus.

While interest in the Nigerian star remains strong, Galatasaray’s latest stance suggests the club is unwilling to part ways with one of its most valuable assets ahead of the upcoming campaign.
