Despite failing woefully and coming a distant 3rd at the just concluded Governorship Election in Abia State, the Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) in the March 9th Governorship election DR Alex Otti has filed a petition at the Abia State Governorship Election Tribunal.

Alex Otti is praying the Governorship election petition tribunal to cancel the results of the 15 local governments where he lost (including Umunneochi, Bende, Isiukwuato, Umuahia North, where Ogah won) and leave Arochukwu and Aba South that he won.

The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) had announced on sunday 10th March 2019 that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu scored 261,127 votes to beat his  opponents
Dr Uche Ogah of APC who scored 99,574 and APGA Dr Alex Otti 64,366 to second and
third positions respectively.

Alex Otti’s prayer is different from that of Dr Uche Ogah who wants the entire election cancelled.
