National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress(APC) Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has declared that the National Leadership of the party was not consulted by the Minister of Transportation Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi before entering any Alliance with the African Action Congress, AAC in Rivers State.
Oshiomhole who appeared as a guest on Channels Television Hard Copy said he cannot admit to what he has no knowledge about.
“APC is not in alliance with any party. The case of Rivers State was not the decision of the party. It was not discussed with the party. We are not aware of any alliance.”
The Claims of the National Chairman counters that of the Acting National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mallam Lanre Issa Onilu who had at a press briefing during the week said nothing was wrong in the alliance of the Rivers State Chapter of the APC with the AAC during the yet to be concluded Governorship election in the State.
