-Appoints Hon Eziuche Ubani as campaign coordinator
Frontline Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant and Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, visited Abia State today to canvass for support in the coming primaries of the party.
While in Abia State, Governor Tambuwal announced the appointment of Rt Hon. Eziuche Ubani, the state commissioner for works, as his campaign coordinator in the state and charged him to mobilize delegates from the state to support his bid for the presidency.
Speaking at the Executive Council (EXCO) Chambers of the Government house Umuahia, where he was hosted by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Alhaji Tambuwal promised to support the economic development of the state if elected.
According to him, “I will be that Nigerian President that will come up with policies that will help the Industrial clusters of Aba to grow. Those hardworking Nigerians are not asking for too much, but only need business friendly policies that will help their businesses and our economy grow”.
Governor Tambuwal assured that if he loses the nomination he will work with the winner to ensure the victory of the party in 2019.
In his remarks, Governor Ikpeazu assured Tambuwal that Abia State delegates will vote for the best hand with tested and proven capacity to take Nigeria to greater heights.
