Again PDP and Wike lose their bid to delay proceedings at the tribunal. The Justice Muazu Pindiga led panel struck out their motion for leave of Court in other to stop the motion brought by Dakuku Peterside and APC urging the tribunal to order INEC to move all the materials used for elections from Port Harcourt to Abuja.
The tribunal had earlier on two occasions ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to allow the APC and Peterside through their forensic experts to inspect the materials. But INEC in collusion with the PDP have repeatedly refused to comply. That thus compelled the APC and it’s candidate, Peterside to file a motion asking that the materials be moved to Abuja, venue of the sitting.
Surprisingly, the PDP again filed a motion claiming not to be prepared, while also asking the Court for more time. But the panel struck out the motion filed by the PDP and Wike.
It’s another heavy blow dealt on the PDP which claimed to have won the election in a landslide.
