Excerpts:
How did you come into acting?
I started acting in 2007 when I joined Adebayo Tijani’s group. I went for rehearsals every Thursday until I did my graduation in 2012. That was how I started.
How has the journey been?
It has not been easy though but for my love and passion for acting, I would have quit long ago because of the financial aspect and those demanding for unnecessary respect.
You are still a student at Tai Solarin University of Education, how do you cope with schooling and acting?
I have been trying to strike a balance between the two. What I normally do is that when I am less busy in school, I go on location. And luckily I am running a part time programme so that makes it easier for me.
Tell us about the movies you have produced?
My first production was in 2011 and I did the second early this year. It is still at the post production level and it is entitled Awanu.
Have you ever been sexually harassed by any movie producer or any of your male colleagues before?
No, not at all.
Which of your roles do you consider most challenging?
The role I played in Ojowu, a soap opera by Adebayo Tijani. I played two different roles in that movie. I was asked to chant, dance and act as a girl in love and at same time project a cool personality. I found it so challenging because I don’t know how to dance.
You are pretty, how come you are still single?
Marriage is not on my agenda for now. I will definitely let you know when I’m ready to tie the knot.
Who are your role models in the industry?
I have got lots of role models. They include Mosun Filani Oduoye, Rita Dominic, Fathia Balogun, Peju Ogunmola, Bimbo Akintola and Toyin Aimakhu.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Well, I see myself as an award winning actress, a good wife and a proud mother.
What are the qualities you look out for in the man you want to spend the rest of your life with?
He should be God fearing, have a good sense of humour and must not be a pushover.
Are you seeing any one at the moment?
Yes, but I don’t want to talk about it please.
